List update and pictures!

Making a mess - I like to think this was hard to achieve because I'm a neat freak, but I'd be lying about both things.

Making scones - Made Mini scones, they all got woofed down last night.

Making/attempting to make a chicken and leek soup - It's interesting and leave it at that.

Making a new clock...OooOooo - Not started this, well aside from prep-ping the frame. Got distracted by doodling on my graphics tablet.

Making copious amounts of tea - Duh!

It was a busy day yesterday, but one where I'm not sure what I did, well aside from what I hoped to achieve. I know I did stuff! As you can see I did make something's, I finished off and listed the latest Mini Artwork, this time a mini toadstool. It's nice going back through my sketchbook and drawing on old sketches and past work to create new bits. With these done I'm going to work on getting a few more new clocks sorted out.

Actually also made something for me, and get this I thought about it, drew the design, and low and behold made it there and then. Rather than what I normally do if it's for me and that's start a bit then put it off. Then three years later I come across it and then don't remember why I started it..... So yes a mini tea cosy for my Tea Posy Teapot, it's tiny and made of glass but perfect for making small amounts of fresh tea. It also makes me use my collection of delicate china, I don't know what it is about using them but it makes everything so much better.

It also prompted when seeing a friend of mine on Facebook feeling a bit down to draw her a picture on my tablet, it was only meant to be a rough thing but I love it. Now I'm thinking about offering it as a small print  in my store. Thoughts on this would be great as I haven't sold anything like this before, and whilst it won't probably be repeated, as in I probably won't draw another one. I don't like the idea of treading on other peoples toes.

What do you think? It will be   printed on archived photographic paper, and probably be about £2.50? Thoughts welcome.

Have a smashing weekend folks....

Oh and because I have a tendency to forget the sale is still on in my Etsy store, finishing at the end of the month.

Mini Stitchery

I've been rather productive lately, or at least it feels like it. I will go with that.

What have I been up to then well I've designed new clocks, ordered the parts and just waiting for those to arrive and then I crack on with those. I can't wait. I can even strike one more thing off my list of things to do. I've stitched two mini art works and the third and final one is just getting under way now. Though I say last only in that I've run out of the tiny hoops so until I get more they will be the first batch. Mind they make a good filler till I get my clocks bits and then I get on with those. I've listed a few items that have sat on my desk waiting to be finished, and they now have and are now in store.

They are so cute and diddy, only a mere 3" across and approx. £15.00 each. The third one will be a little a toadstool I think, not quite sure, I have a couple of other sketches I'd like to do but then I might keep those for the clock.

Weirdly today we have sun, it's also whilst a little nippy I have the windows open and the fresh air is a welcome change to the stuffy air from having the heaters on all day. Thank christ the snow has finally gone and then perhaps we call get back to normalish. I'm now on a small break from work which is good, excellent timing to be honest. Though I have to do less crafting and try and get myself on the hunt for something a little more me.

Have a good day folks.

Times a ticking

I don't know about you but am wondering where the time is going? It's what already the 12th? Not that I am complaining January by standards isn't the best, and I'd rather it go by rather quickly. That said though I also want to be perhaps in sights of working for a new company. So anyone with suggestions for job hunting can you leave me a message. I'm always open for tips.

That aside I'm actually working on some new projects, and also have an interview for a magazine...squee, but I won't say more on that till later. So on with what I'm working on:

+ Mini embroideries for the wall
+ Wall clocks see what I have done recently below
+ Pastel  coloured button needlecases, perfect for the spring

Yes another clock, a different style and I bloody love it. I already have in the works at least another two to three designs, so now it's literally a matter of gaining some more supplies and stitching. Will keep you informed of the progress as it goes.

So what do you think?

Snow Days and Stitching

Making the most of having an extra day off this week, so perhaps the snow isn't all the bad, but it's sure is a lot still outside and we've not had any more snow today.

I made the Snow Robin that I was itching to make, and I carried on my stitching. I'm working on an idea that I am not quite ready to show you what it is. I made an example yesterday, and I'm so thrilled with it, I won't show you till it's done. All I will say it's another clock. Different from what I have made recently. So in the mean time look at these images to wet your appetite. Anyway now it's time to eat.
