Nothing beats a big mug of tea and a couple of biscuits, and what sucks is having no where to put the biscuits, why use a massive plate for a couple hobnobs (other biscuits are available) when you can use this nifty oversized coaster, room for your mug and your biscuit. Perfect.

Super Coasters
Everything these days is super-sized, and whilst most of it is stomach churning this little or should I say large beauty is super-sized for a purpose. It has enough space for your mug and a stack of biscuits (well I can never just have one) and it's also gone a bit patriotic with an England style flag design, using iconic Liberty Print fabric.

Drum Roll please......
Hopefully you can read that tiny little box on the right!
The number drawn was 11, I was going to do a number out of the hat, but I can't find my hat!! Congratulations Vicki Brown! I shall track you down and sort out getting your address =D
I rather enjoyed doing this little competition, so I will most certainly do another one soon!

Roses Duo - Lavender T-Bags
Must admit it's nice getting back into the rhythm of working on small projects. I feel more alive at the moment even if I am stuck in a rut with my actual job, with my knee sorted I just feel I can just get back on track. So in between getting myself out of my boring job, because it is just that, I shall get back to making items, it's my motiviation and keeps me ticking along, also stops me from just taking a seat back and coast.
Just to remind you that if you check my previous blog post there is still time to enter my competition to win a special needlecase, so if you haven't already taken part do take part!.
Some silly things that made me smile yesterday got a new cartridge for a pen I've had for ages, and god it feels good to use it again, helped me to sketch a new design. I've come over a bit patriotic lately, and I've combined my love of Blightly (with all of its faults) with a pratical item. Can't wait to make it this afternoon.
COME ON ENGLAND
Roses Duo Lavender Sachet T-Bags $12.00
& Beaded Cover/Coaster $12.00 each.

Competition Time!
I don't often do competitions, but every now and then I have an urge to run one. My reason for wanting to run one was because as you know in my earlier post today (I know two posts in one day...shocking!) that I've recently made a batch of very pretty needlecases. Whilst making those nine I made another one, and what you see below is the fella in question. It has a very special button on it one that I purchased whilst I was in New York quite a few years back.
So would you like to be the owner of this little guy?
For a chance to win, leave a comment below, you have until Sunday, 13th June to do so!
I will select a winner at random on Monday. How exciting!
GOOD LUCK
Please note I won't be giving away my super sharp scissors or my fave thimble as shown in the image. As I sort of need them to make things.
Rather behind...
On the old blog updates, had to read back the last few to see what I have mentioned and what I haven't. Part from saying evidently there was no part 2 to the last blog post. Bit of an epic fail on my part. Anyho, my knee is doing fine, walking much better on it but it's still a bit stiff, and I have the joys of returning to work on Sunday, which will be a lovely end to the week....
I have been making lots, and I have also been distracted lots, the distractions;
What I have been making;
Most of what I have made I haven't actually taken any photo's off I am slacking on that side of things, but I will show you something I am rather in love with, it's my own work...I know so modest.

Isn't that just the most cheerful thing you've seen? They are all being listed on my Etsy store, and are going for $4.50 each excluding p&p. There is one that isn't in this picture that I will be blogging about later on (promise!).
Hope your enjoying the weather...well if its lousy that you are at least wrapped up warm and are dry!

A Proper Blog Post
For a change. Not that I consider any previous posts I've made anything less than a proper post, but sometimes I do ramble, or make them short. Today's is going to be fairly large so I might break it up into two. I know aren't I nice.
Hello by the way to the new followers! I am I see now up to 62, so cooie you nutters that chose to follow me, and also a hello to those poor folks who follow me on twitter. If your crazy enough you can follow me too just head over to twitter I would love to say I am sane on twitter but that's just not me. Anyway....
Firstly I have my first customer photo of my work in use, so massive thanks Gabrielle (especially for allowing me to use her photo) do also take the time to check out her lovely blog. I must say I do rather like her mug too. She will also be set to open the doors on her very own Etsy store. So keep an eye out for that by following her blog (just click her name above).
I've also been working on new lines, and as I type just behind my on my desk is a little pile of things to do, I have two new tissue holders which I will be making entirely by hand no sewing machine for the seams (mainly because I can't get to it owing to my knee being out of action), and some more lovely lavender teabag sachets, and hopefully i'll be receiving some bias binding and felt in the post. Which will mean baby quilt being finished and new pastel shades needlecases! I think when I get a load of those made I'll do a little competition or do a free shipping week on them. You know it's funny I started out writing this post and now for the life of me I can't remember what the hell I was going to write about that was potentially going to make this a massive post....So perhaps it will be part 1 of 2, part two post lunch.
Bye for now!

Today I will be mainly.....
Resting my knee, icing it and generally not being an idiot when it comes to over doing it. It's amazing how much you rely on the old knees to move the way you want them too. Anyway, I have two weeks pretty much to get it back up to speed again. Whilst that's going on, I've actually found the enthusiasm and the inspiration to work on a few new pieces/ideas...
First up with have a multi-purpose item, which I don't really know what the correct name to call it, you can use it as a coaster but you can also use it to cover your drink. The reason I did this is because I often have a glass a water on my bedside table, and if you really need a drink in a night you always get that lovely layer of dust, or worse a fly in it.
