In case you missed the news, I have a 40% off sale over on my Etsy store!

To help me start a fresh this coming year, I wanted to clear the decks of everything I've made over the last couple of years. Sale goes on till the 16th January.

Happy New Year - Sale & Hiccups

 Happy New Year everybody!

I hope your all well and starting to get back into the swing of life? I am please to say that I have survived the Christmas season and now getting into the swing of things, though not without a few hiccups along the way, though before I explain that I am pleased to announce that my Etsy store is now back open, and not only that to make way for new stock and to tidy things up a little bit (nothing like a spot of cleaning) I have many items that are now half price. I am slowly adding bits to the sale section but do go and have a little look!

Now the minor hiccup is one that isn't such a massive problem and isn't necessarily the end of the world, but is a pain in the neck, is that my lovely desktop computer just before Christmas decided to die on me. Needless to say I was not a happy bunny. It's not the end of it though but it is an expense I could really do without, I don't get the whole extended warranty cover still don't think it would have solved the issue I have with Packard Bells customer service department. Anyway in theory my files etc are still on the hard drive as it was the Motherboard that pegged it. So to cut a long story short it needs to be looked at by the manufacturer and well it's not been easy. Customer service it seems still isn't PC manufacturer's forte and that will be the last time I buy a Packard Bell computer.

In the meantime I have a little new shiny notebook, it's not ideal and cannot handle a mass load which is why I have decided not to upload new items to my store till my other computer is sorted out. If though it appears it could be sometime till that is sorted, then I have some alternative ways of getting round it. So watch this space!

List update and pictures!

Making a mess - I like to think this was hard to achieve because I'm a neat freak, but I'd be lying about both things.

Making scones - Made Mini scones, they all got woofed down last night.

Making/attempting to make a chicken and leek soup - It's interesting and leave it at that.

Making a new clock...OooOooo - Not started this, well aside from prep-ping the frame. Got distracted by doodling on my graphics tablet.

Making copious amounts of tea - Duh!

It was a busy day yesterday, but one where I'm not sure what I did, well aside from what I hoped to achieve. I know I did stuff! As you can see I did make something's, I finished off and listed the latest Mini Artwork, this time a mini toadstool. It's nice going back through my sketchbook and drawing on old sketches and past work to create new bits. With these done I'm going to work on getting a few more new clocks sorted out.

Actually also made something for me, and get this I thought about it, drew the design, and low and behold made it there and then. Rather than what I normally do if it's for me and that's start a bit then put it off. Then three years later I come across it and then don't remember why I started it..... So yes a mini tea cosy for my Tea Posy Teapot, it's tiny and made of glass but perfect for making small amounts of fresh tea. It also makes me use my collection of delicate china, I don't know what it is about using them but it makes everything so much better.

It also prompted when seeing a friend of mine on Facebook feeling a bit down to draw her a picture on my tablet, it was only meant to be a rough thing but I love it. Now I'm thinking about offering it as a small print  in my store. Thoughts on this would be great as I haven't sold anything like this before, and whilst it won't probably be repeated, as in I probably won't draw another one. I don't like the idea of treading on other peoples toes.

What do you think? It will be   printed on archived photographic paper, and probably be about £2.50? Thoughts welcome.

Have a smashing weekend folks....

Oh and because I have a tendency to forget the sale is still on in my Etsy store, finishing at the end of the month.
