For those who wondered what it looked like once finished.... I was aiming for a strange little specimen, a little bit of a odd nature in a little curio box. I was rather pleased with the outcome it's very tactile. I almost inclined to make another one and put it in the same small glass box.

ReplyDeleteI'd add black (or dark green) velvet glued on rectangular piece of carboard on the bottom of the box and stick an old looking label underneath (the cardboard) where I'd put the name of this thingie. You know, like they do it in museums for the specimens. Your creature would look even more perfect on it.
It does look like an old museum specimin, something vaguley geoloical or medical.
