Late Night Stitching

Late Night Stitching

Not done that for sometime and it's something I have been trying to make a concious effort to do now that I work full time in London and free time is at a premium.

So here we go I have been making wrapped loops for no other reason than I like the effect, especially the one I did last night which was two plastic circles held together and then buttonhole stitch/loops all the way round. Then for added detail I stitched on small beads. Fun. I highly recommend this easy method of creating circles.

More to Come

  1. I adore these beaded "donuts" - is there a tutorial somewhere? I'd love to incorporate them in one of my little artsy quilt/pillow thingies ... but I've no idea how to start. I'm in Florida - not exactly the embroidery capital of the world ... Here's a sample of the type of pillows I make:

Thank you - love the beautiful stuff you make!
    Warm greetings, VM

  3. To be honest I hate writing tutorials as I am not very good at explaining how I do things. A lot of things I do happen there and then, its a minor miracle if I remember how to do it exactly the same again!
