Starting a more detailed project today, something rather abstract in design. I've had a doodle in my sketchbook for a very long time and I thought it was time to do something with it and to use the mulberry silk threads I purchased just after Christmas.
Also gives me a great excuse to use my favourite stitch again. Yes, that's right trailing...I can't help it.

your stitches are so immaculate,I have to admit that I have never bought any silk threads but seeing how beautifully they lie maybe the time has come for me to try them
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, you should give them ago. There are many different types of Silk thread out there, so there might be a type of thread that suits you. I do recommend Mulberry Silks, the lady that runs it is very helpful.
